Rose McMurray, FDRSafety Senior Advisor, Appointed to National Safety Council Board Of Directors
On November 12th the National Safety Council announced the appointments of 11 new members to the National Safety Council Board of Directors, including FDRsafety’s own Rose McMurray. Ms. McMurray joins as a NSC Division Representative, bringing her vast knowledge and experience in Transportation Safety policies and practices to the Council.
Leading FDRsafety’s Transportation Safety Division, she provides clients with insight into how to obtain good ratings in CSA 2010 measurements. Good scores are critical for motor carriers, since those scores drive DOT’s enforcement priorities.
Ms. McMurray is the former Assistant Administrator/Chief Safety Officer for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, as well as the chief driver behavior executive for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. She is a road safety expert who oversaw the development and implementation of the Compliance, Safety , Accountability (CSA) enforcement scheme and is well positioned to help your organization address safety performance challenges including litigation cases affecting companies and their driver workforce.
